A maximum of 50 competitors chosen by ballot may compete for the Clubman's Trophy. They will join the Daily Mirror RAC Rally at the re-start from York on Monday, 19 November 1973. The number of competitors allowed to compete for this trophy will be equivalent to the number of retirements from the Daily Mirror RAC Rally during the first leg (Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 November 1973).
