Well, maybe it's not. But if you tell someone new that the person who won (set the fastest time overall) didn't win...do you pull them in? Sure, I get the idea, Sunday might be more interesting, but...

For me, there's nothing to misunderstand about it, mathematically speaking. It's more the controversy where the winner takes less points than those behind him. But on the other hand, if someone cleans all day Friday, they don't have to throw in the towel and take the points on Sunday.

But they should have kept at least the basic rule that whoever wins the competition overall should get the most points, regardless of how many finishers finish on Sunday and how they finish in the PS. Don't let the situation arise that someone wins the competition, but someone else, who may not even be on the podium, enjoys the most points...

Agreed, I think it would be completely sufficient to do away with the powerstage points and award them for the overall standings instead. That would solve pretty much all the problems of the new scoring, in my opinion.

How brutally boring must Sundays have been back in the day, when the races were much longer and the spacing much greater? ;-) Nowadays, for "everyone else" the race is decided after 2-3RZ...;-) Sure, I'm just old and nobody can tell me that scoring significantly extra part of the race (incl. powerstage - if only those 3 "auxiliary" points were bearable) is wrong. And it's not about opacity, it's about principle. Theory: why someone who leads the whole race with start-finish system and retires in the last RZ takes nothing and someone who breaks it on Friday on the first RZ, on Saturday too and wins the whole Sunday takes 11 points? Of course, this is extreme, but all these auxiliary systems are mainly for those who make a mistake, retire or are not fast enough overall... So either significantly boost the overall points for the ENTIRE order in the cili (and for me the one who withdraws to SR should not take points to the drivers for the overall order) and as a bonus give a few small points for something (like for winning 50, for Sunday max 3 points etc.).

Scoring Sunday's stage is a good idea. It's a very bad idea not to score the overall standings at all...

I was bothered by the fact that after finishing the RZ the overall order was displayed, which meant nothing at all. And for example the planting - isn't it a bit stupid to plant on something that nobody has the motivation to win? The overall standings should be for the highest number of points, so that every RZ can be scored. And even the total of bonuses shouldn't be less than the total, the winner will lose a big part of the bonus anyway.

That's bullshit. PS was invented for the sake of TV attractiveness and Sunday scoring was invented for the sake of Sunday attractiveness. That's got to stay. Except that the 3 orders should be integrated into the graphics, that's also a very important thing :)

Do those points actually add to the attractiveness of that one RZ? For me, Sunday is now attractive enough that PS doesn't have to be.
