Every hundredth of a second counts here, and if someone dictates a completely different turn or says it too late, you lose time and concentration and it doesn't matter if you know it from the onboard or not :D So no, they don't really drive by memory, but exactly by what the co-driver tells them

Ondra, that's to be expected, yesterday when TN was fending off attacks from Toyota and putting on a super performance, everyone was just arguing about how much a subscription to this or that costs. Today he made a mistake and it's alive again. It may have been made by half the rally1 grid, but TN's take on it is different 😁👍.

I think it's stupid for him to let him go. If I omit points and Ogi would be second, Elfyn third, then by all means let him go, but this is about wins and turkey :-D Ogi only cares about wins. I'm sure he's also looking at the win stats, he probably won't beat Loeb anymore, but Kalle may eventually overtake everyone in wins..

There were rumors that he would be driving with Hyundai next year, but now it depends if Hyundai will be in the WRC next year or will leave. After all, when they develop a new Rally1 car based on the i10 and suddenly the FIA changes the rules that from 2025 the RALLY1 cars will be different, the whole development and money seems to be thrown out the window ... But Kalle would have been a hit at Hyundai.

I can't remember now exactly which article it was on dirtfish, but it said they had a new rally1 car from a smaller version of the hyundai, same concept as the Yaris, on the shop floor in vÿvoj. And if you look at the models on offer, almost as big as the Yaris GR is the new i10. But I guess the development and the car will end up like the VW Polo R Rally1 .. let's see how the FIA will comment on what and how ...

The whole thing doesn't make sense to me because the i20 rally1 is already smaller than the yaris rally1, and even given the tubular frames and scaling of body parts, the production base is irrelevant. Btw the production i10 is 30cm shorter than the Yaris GR.

Ogier is third in the third stage, Evans is sixth, hard to let him go. It doesn't make any difference to the overall points. Let's get Evans to do something at the PS.

That's also the only plus of the new scoring. But it doesn't change the fact that it's a terrible piece of garbage, which is hard for die-hard fans to navigate, let alone the average viewer. And they keep saying how they want to popularise the WRC...

At the moment, it may turn out that Neuville took the most points for the first two days, Katsuta will probably win Sunday, Ogier will be the overall winner and Tannak will take the most points if he manages to do well in the PS. How simple. And the tactics within the teams will move from Sunday to Saturday...

The overall results of the competition will be what history will remember, the rest is just about points for the championship, where everyone is interested in the overall (intermediate) standings after the competition anyway. It will be more interesting before the last competition of the year, unless it has already been decided. Two with the same points can fight for the title, one will win overall and the other will be the champion...
