Info
Stopped, continued
"I'm so so pleased. But I have to congratulate the team, there were no issues with the car all weekend. This is for them, they deserve it."
"We gave it a go, I didn't feel like I was moving anywhere to be honest. A very difficult weekend, but we move on."
"I tried. I don't know where I get the 'never give up' spirit from, but it's there. We have to be pleased with the performance, let's see what the points are like."
"Some places there were some very strange roughness, it was not a great run. At least Sunday was OK, I was very unfortunate on Friday. It's a big shame, let see what comes next."
"We had a top result. It's an occasion for me to forget the business. Maybe I'll do something else...Acropolis, maybe..."
"The speed was good from the beginning, we need to be pleased with that. The rest...is not so positive"
"We tried to have a clever approach. We could have had a top 5, but luck wasn't with us. Looking forward to Croatia"
"It's been a long weekend! I'm really, really happy. Thank you to the team this weekend, they've been perfect."
"For sure it's been a great weekend. It's been good, without Friday's issues it could have been very different. It's been a real challenge, but I've enjoyed it. Good start to the championship."
"We can say we did it again in WRC2 Challenger. I was careful, sometimes boring, but that was important for me and my sponsors."
"For sure it's a very unique rally, maybe the most difficult one I've ever done. The team did a great job to prepare the car, and I tried my best. I'll see you in Croatia, where we'll have an engine update"

Let's be glad to be going! The break from Sweden was very long! I had a dream today - Hyundai announced that they will not be participating in the WC next year and are leaving. Luckily it was a dream! I don't know why I dreamt it, I didn't think about it at all yesterday. 😂
CeskyOndra [25. 3. 12:20:44] [translated from cs]
I don't know what you're wondering...
Fila67 [25. 3. 18:34:31] [translated from cs]
I'm surprised they put it there when nobody wants to go there, except for Rally1 who have it as an obligation? I just read Rally magazine, there was a 1984 MŠ and there were 16 cars and there was no Hyundai. As I wrote,I don't understand,oh yeah, what the fuck is this era?
Fila67 [25. 3. 18:41:20] [translated from cs]
From my point of view there are 15 riders, the rest are extras.
ecky [26. 3. 10:21:11] [translated from cs]
The Safari is not only the peloton of the World Championships but also the national championship. There are more of these crews in the recap.
ecky [26. 3. 10:23:07] [translated from sk]
Check out KNCR Safari. Different hamonogram and 19 logged in.
Fila67 [24. 3. 06:56:40] [translated from cs]
I see that there is a huge interest in the Safari Rally, yeah, put it back on, this is the World Championship? It's not even embarrassing anymore, it's ridiculous.
martyxis [25. 3. 22:40:53] [translated from cs]
Well, either there will be a rally with a lower number of starters or it will be "European Championship 2". There are already 10 events in Europe, 1 in Africa, 1 in America and 1 in Asia... Then the question is what is a world championship for you;
Fila67 [26. 3. 18:08:55] [translated from cs]
I think of the World Championship as Formula 1, that's the World Championship with everything.
standak [26. 3. 08:40:27] [translated from cs]
Didn't you write in the comments to Sweden that you are done with the World Championship? If you had, you wouldn't be upset here right now...
Fila67 [26. 3. 18:05:29] [translated from cs]
He wrote, but it's true, I'm not angry at all, I'm just puzzled by it and I'm stating it.That's all.
ecky [26. 3. 19:55:03] [translated from cs]
Just to add, in 84' 5 factories scored in Kenya, none of the 13 scored brands scored all the podiums of the MS of that year. The most important factor in the low number of crews now is the high cost incomparable even with inflation factored in with 40 years ago. The cost of the car, team, logistics, etc., when converted to even per kilometre travelled is a hundred times and more.
Fila67 [27. 3. 06:31:07] [translated from cs]
Thanks for clarifying the situation, I'm just stating it and I'm sad that it turned out that way.I guess it's not interesting for those car companies to rally under those conditions.
junninen [27. 3. 20:11:06]
Does anyone know why Neuville's third and forth run times were removed? If im not mistaken then in reality he drove the same time as Kalle best run was
ski1961 [24. 3. 13:35:12] [translated from cs]
Are those 29 entries already the official starting lineup? Really useless rally....
Fila67 [25. 3. 18:42:28]
Je,no😢😢😢
306MAXI [28. 3. 08:20:18] [translated from cs]
I wouldn't say it's useless. For me, it's one of the best rallies in MS. The conditions are close to what I think a rally should be. Unfortunately, if you look at the history of the Safari, there weren't that many more crews, and they did African events for 2 years. Most of them were locals who were old enough to do what they could. Plus other adventurers... There were cars that were 5-6 years old. If the rules had been the same then as they are now, and it was mostly just current cars, I think the entry list would have been the same. Unfortunately, there are few factory teams and the conditions for locals to run a WC race are off. I honestly don't really know how to get out of it at the moment, reducing WRC performance will only reduce that appeal.
Medvěd [28. 3. 12:17:29] [translated from cs]
Isn't there a "wrong clock" at the tipster?
Shacki [28. 3. 12:32:41] [translated from cs]
the hours are set according to the schedule, but there's something wrong :)
Medvěd [28. 3. 12:33:50] [translated from cs]
Always some time problems.... different zones and from Sunday another time again... Poor timekeepers ;-)
kajikk [28. 3. 12:58:47]
proc nejel treba Gus?
ski1961 [28. 3. 13:06:04] [translated from cs]
A little info outside Safari : in the O2 broadcast the commentator talked about the fact that they will broadcast ERC on O2 this year and one news that Filip Mares is supposedly moving to Yaris for a quickie although it hasn't been made official yet.
Domcaca [28. 3. 12:46:58] [translated from cs]
Does anyone know why Hyundai is the only one without vacuum cleaners on the hood?
Medvěd [28. 3. 12:50:42] [translated from cs]
I think it was stated somewhere that they have snorkels, but will only install one if needed. But no guarantee...
Shacki [28. 3. 12:52:52] [translated from cs]
Exactly.
Domcaca [28. 3. 13:06:53] [translated from cs]
Thank you, gentlemen.
kajikk [28. 3. 13:14:31] [translated from cs]

Shacki [28. 3. 13:39:36] [translated from cs]
it automatically detects the language to translate and sometimes it doesn't guess

Hello gentlemen, does anyone know how many spare wheels anyone carries? Thank you.
CeskyOndra [29. 3. 07:27:49] [translated from cs]
I know Lappi is carrying one and Rovanpera + Evans after the puncture have only one.
Shacki [29. 3. 07:47:53] [translated from cs]
Lappi carries one, the others have two
