"The beginning of the stage was good, but we lost a lot of grip towards the end. The water splashes were deeper than they were on the recce, but they were okay."
"Lucky escape at the water splash. I could see the lines of the people in front. I understood something was going to happen. That saved us."
"We have a transmission problem. I don't know what. One-wheel-drive I think."
"We went off after the deep water, maybe 7km before the finish. We didn't see it on the recce and then, wow!"
