"It was a good morning loop for us, we had some pace on [SS3]. This one it was possible to get 3.0sec extra but we need to look for this the whole rally. It was a good loop."
"The grip was much better than expecting, it was quite clean. Could've been faster, but it's a good battle with Sesks."
"The car feels very strange, especially my brake pedal. I need to push, push, push and I feel we can't brake. We can't have the confidence like this, we'll fix it in service and then just flat."
"We are happy about that, it was a short stage with many difficult parts, we'll go now to service to get ready for second loop."
"I think it went very good, we tried to avoid problems and lost a bit of time but we didn't get any tyre damage. As we said, some rocks came out and we'll see how the afternoon goes."
"Being safe to tyre and car, the first loop is good. This stage is very bad!"
"Pretty good! It's going well, this stage is so fast. Had a bit of a heartstopping moment with an optimistic note at the beginning, but we made a small setup change and it fits really nicely. We'll see how this afternoon goes."
"It was quite okay, very slippery. In the first loop struggling a bit, but we keep going and hope to push better in the second loop."
"It's a very bad morning for us. We're cleaning the road, there is no clean line. We're going sideways a bit too much, sometimes I feel after the corner we're a bit too slow. After all this, we got a puncture. We can continue but we need to get to service, I am very disappointed at the minute."
"Not easy, you're going long straight and the car doesn't want to because we have to clean the road for the other guys."
"We have the best tyres, I am happy with them. Not an easy rally but we're enjoying it a lot."
"I think it's definitely going to be easier because the road will be clean. On the other hand, there may be more stones on the road but I'm definitely looking forward to second loop."
"In the fast sections I can push much more."
"We're still learning the car, there are still some things to adjust and learn."
"We have possibly been compromised by the road position, but there is nothing you can do about that."
"I'm struggling, I don't know it is because of starting position or because everything is new for me."

We shouldn't forget about Vaher, if it wasn't for the puncture, he would have won the juniors. He's a fantastic driver for 17 years old, I've been watching him for a long time and I think he has the potential to be a WRC driver. He's going for the win on gravel, but we'll see how he does on tarmac.

Another Estonian talent? Pretty good for a country of 1.3 million people.

Beautiful competition and great competition. Czech crews amazing performances. Keep it up and big congratulations!

If you mean the amazing performances ironically, I agree. The s/km loss for a driver who wants/wanted(?) a factory seat in MS is not exactly small (even if you subtract the puncture) and for our other driver it is almost horrific. So I don't know how the new car and the tested km with it have factored into it... Perhaps only Filip Kohn can withstand (despite weaker competition in RC3) a stricter benchmark. But maybe I'm just too pessimistic on a Monday morning.
Koder 2115 [15. 4. 12:21:23]
I wouldn't say amazing. Mares barely got into the top 10 and it's only thanks to Heikkila and Sesks retiring, cause he would never get into top 10 on pure pace. The only good one was Kohn and Woodburn in the Rally3.
