Info
"From the first 5km we struggled for the confidence, but it was unnecessary to struggle. It's not a bad start."
"Not so hard, I tried to be clean! Too much clean driving, I was way too careful in a few places. The guys behind will be faster but okay, we're here."
"It felt good, it was so slippery and difficult to keep the line. We will see on the next one, it's a different stage."
"We have 1 spare tyre, but we are out of this stage without any trouble. We have the short stage and the long stage. It's a difficult one but really nice."
"No big moments chuckles. The speed is not quite Mixy style, just being safe with the car and the tyre."
"I wouldn't say it was perfect, quite a few mistakes. My driving coach wouldn't be happy! But it is the first stage, we wake up and learn new things."
"We had a massive moment in 5th gear, we were very lucky. It was in the middle of the stage and I lost the confidence. For sure, we got lucky."
"It was quite slippery, in the middle section we hit a little ditch and I thought it was a puncture but it's not. We need to push more."
"We knew we were gonna lose time on this stage because the road is sweeping a lot. Hopefully the next one is where you get more of an advantage point. You need to play the long game on this rally."
"It's the first one, already big rocks came out so not easy. We are OK, in the first section it was tough to find the grip but then it was OK."
"Not brave enough to be honest, there was a lot of cleaning so there will be faster for sure. I tried to be safe. Let's see, it was a good drive."
"For sure it's cleaning, especially at the start where its a hard surface and fine gravel. We're working with the road position we have, it could've been a lot worse confidence wise. I was being careful with the forest section, there's a little bit of moisture on the ground."
"It's really slippery but overall it's a nice experience, the rally is good. The feeling is good so we'll carry on."
"Not the best one, very slippery now. We don't have lines but this is what we expected. We did a good job."
"Very slippery for us, for the guys behind it will be cleaner."
"Not so good stage, on same places I had not optimistic pacenotes."
"Strange stage, not bad, I'm trying to get used new car and tyres, but not easy on this stage. I hope it will be better on the next one."

We shouldn't forget about Vaher, if it wasn't for the puncture, he would have won the juniors. He's a fantastic driver for 17 years old, I've been watching him for a long time and I think he has the potential to be a WRC driver. He's going for the win on gravel, but we'll see how he does on tarmac.

Another Estonian talent? Pretty good for a country of 1.3 million people.

Beautiful competition and great competition. Czech crews amazing performances. Keep it up and big congratulations!

If you mean the amazing performances ironically, I agree. The s/km loss for a driver who wants/wanted(?) a factory seat in MS is not exactly small (even if you subtract the puncture) and for our other driver it is almost horrific. So I don't know how the new car and the tested km with it have factored into it... Perhaps only Filip Kohn can withstand (despite weaker competition in RC3) a stricter benchmark. But maybe I'm just too pessimistic on a Monday morning.
Koder 2115 [15. 4. 12:21:23]
I wouldn't say amazing. Mares barely got into the top 10 and it's only thanks to Heikkila and Sesks retiring, cause he would never get into top 10 on pure pace. The only good one was Kohn and Woodburn in the Rally3.
