Happy like hell, good for the future..
Steep learning curves but we've made some gains, fantastic weekend, thanks to everyone back home who made this possible / Zase jsme se něco naučili, ale taky jsme vybojovali nějaké ty body, super víkend, děkuji všem, kteří mi tohle umožnili
I am happy with that. Shame for Dani, it would have been so nice to see him on the Podium on his home event
Was okay, I was not pushing. Everything is fine generally. I think we show quite good speed on this rally and I am happy.
Fantastic day. We pushed really hard. We took a risk this morning. But the most important this weekend is the manufacturers' championship. / Úžasný den. Tlačili jsme opravdu naplno. Hodně jsme riskovali dnes dopoledne. Ale nejdůležitější je tento víkend vítězství pro továrnu!

Enjoying the stages.Not much to fight for, but setting good times. Back in the top. Feels a lot better.
Another great stage, I'm very happy. It's a shame for Dani, you don't want him to be stopped at his home rally / Další krásná rychlostka, jsem spokojený. Je to smůla pro Daniho, je to nepříjemné, takhle skončit na domácí soutěži...

I had to stop and find out where the road. It's not moving, the sun is coming through the dust & I could not see the road. It is really crazy and dangerous, I was out of the road and I did not know I was out of the road. / Musel jsem zastavit a hledat trať. Slunce vychází skrz prach a já naprosto neviděl trať. Velmi nebezpečné, nechápu, jaký idiot vymyslel tuhle RZtu.
I'm a good rhythm now. I have a clean road, the conditions are faster for me. You need really precise notes / Mám teď dobré tempo. Trať byla čistá, podímnky pro mě rychlé. Je nutný dokonalý rozpis.
This car is very different, motocrosser on steroids and I can't get a feeling at all...hey, we've got to keep learning / Tohle auto je hodně odlišné, pocity motokrosařů na steroidech a mých se nedají srovnávat...dál se učíme...

4 minute gap not a driver decision - implemented by organisers, so no time penalty for Paddon
Okay, a lot of dust in the stage, difficult when you are not pushing flat out to take the risks that you have to take.
Hayden Paddon has taken an extra minute gap - he'll get a penalty, but the dust may settle / Paddon si nechal přidělit minutovou penalizaci a získal tím na předchozí auto 4 minuty (s 10 sekundovou penalizací)
So much dust in some places, I couldn't find the rhythm / Spousta prachy na hodně místech, nedařilo se mi najít správný rytmus...

started really well, for a long time we were close to the pace of Ogier. Towards the end the tyres started to move so much

Just went a little bit wide and touched the rock face. Hopefully nothing too serious.
There was some cutting corners, but not so much gravel on the road, not so much.
Definitely we found some more on the set-up. Now I just made a big step (in the right direction).
I am happy with this.
A new aspect to the rally....it will be interesting...a bit of gamble now [could Ogier catch up tomorrow?] you never know

Jsme po 15 km trefili nějakej cut, auto se začalo třást, bál jsem se, že máme defekt, druhá část hodně klouzala, gumy měly asi dost.

Was OK, felt a little better, it's going in a better direction. (All 3 Fiestas arriving with very hot brakes) / Bylo to ok, cítil jsem se trochu lépe, jde to lépe (všechny fiesty přijeli s rozžhavenými brzdami)

The closest stage to a racing circuit you could ever have....new section of asphalt and I could not drive so fast there

Very difficult to keep focused, but I think the time is not bad...
hard to get a rhythm, in the stage after the roundabout, slowly but surely getting there....

Easier second time through this stage, but very demanding for the car, the driver, the tyres...
We made a lot of changes to the car overnight, struggling a little bit on this twisty bit...
tried to change the set up of the car....quite a lot of understeering, we will speak to the team...only carry on trying
Just v slow left hand corner, we went wide ...there was a stone there, it hit tyre...Something is wrong with the suspension

Quite tricky, hard to get into a nice rhythm...not where we'd like to be...make a couple of changes... / Docela záludné, těžko se dostává do ideálního tempa...nejsme tam, kde bychom chtěli být...musíme udělat několik změn...
We don't know [probs on SS1}, it was a misfire of some sort...it cleared as it went on...it's good... / Nevíme (problémy na RZ1), vynechávalo nám zapalování...zlepšilo se to postupně.. je to dobré...
I have good brake I think. I need to change the set-up a little in the front, but it is good.
This was the worse stage for me, I drove very bad, I do not know why.
It was okay, we pick up quite a lot of understeer in one corner, we was on the limit. I have a bit of problem with handbrake

Long [ratio] gearbox...twisty...I struggle a lot to find the right gear.
I enjoyed - different in the dark...
No big mistakes, that's the big thing. I think I had a good run..[Taking on Ogier?] you need to be flat out and consistent. / Žádné velké chyby, to je důležité. Myslím, že jsme jeli dobře... (abyste dostali Ogiera) musíte jet na maximum a důsledně...
We changed a bit the setting, but I don't know, it's not working...understeer, it's strange. / Změnili jsme trošku nastavení, ale nevím, nefunguje to... nedotáčí to, je to divné...
It's ok. The car was quite good. I think we had a good drive. / Je to ok. Auto bylo celkem dobré. Myslím, že jsme jeli dobře.

Very tricky stage, took no risks. Times not there yet, so it's a case of getting through tonight, recap and see tomorrow. / Hodně zrádná zkouška, neriskovali jsme. Čas tam není, takže se uvidí, co zítra...
We lost a lot of time on first one with a problem, luckily we've cured it. Getting better and better..composure back / Ztratili jsme hodně času na první s problémem, naštěstí jsme to vyřešili. Jde to lépe a lépe...klid je zpět
You need to keep your head in the dark, a lot of kilometres to go...
Quite difficult in the night, obviously hard to judge the braking point in the dark...I'm enjoying it! / Celkem obtížné v noci, samozřejmě těžko se hledá ve tmě ideální brzdný bod... ale bavil jsem se!

Tough stage, but I enjoy it a lot, the middle stage was good, the last tough, but that's life: best car I've ever driven / Těžká zkouška, ale hodně jsem se bavil, prostřední část zkoušky byla dobrá, konec obtížný, ale to je život: nejlepší auto v kterém jsem kdy jel!

Všichni znají zkoušku dost dobře, bojoval jsem s tmou a se spoustou dalších věcí, nešlo to líp...

Very difficult, you cannot see the distance, very damp, a lot of cuts appearing...
It was like fog the last 5km, it hasn't helped a lot...not an easy stage, difficult at night / Bylo to jak v mlze posledních 5 kilometrů, nic nepomáhalo... nebyla to snadná zkouška, těžká v noci...
It was OK, a little bit careful in the fast section..I was happy, tyres goes off a bit...
I didn't like it, difficult to see...nighttime...I did my best... / Nelíbilo se mi to, pořádně jsem neviděl... noc... jel jsem jak nejlépe to šlo...
the stage was very fast...sometimes it was very slippery...
You always want to make it better...you can change both [driver and car]...the car needs to be much harder

Some spectators throw stones at the windscreen...I do not like that... there are people in the cars when you throw stones
I had no rhythm, I was understeering a lot, it was humid a lot...I panic a bit...we must be better for the next one
