"Starting the rally with the 4th fastest time! It was a good run, and got to be happy with the time given the sweeping and being first WRC2 car on the road, it is how it is today - will be the same on every stage so we’ve just got to deal with it as best we can!"

"Maybe I was a bit too careful with the tyres in some of the sections but I had a good clean run. There is a bit of dust in there, even with the four-minute gap, but it was just on the edge so it's driveable."
