"It was okay but nothing special really. We were just trying to get our eye in for the Power Stage - nothing crazy."
"There are a lot of junctions, so it's really no place to take a risk. You just need to be clean on the junctions and we did exactly that - it's all good."
"I can go quicker if I take the risks, but I am not willing to take it. It does not make any difference for me - if I take a crazy risk to be a few seconds faster then I can have the same time as Ott. It's not worth it."
"The car is a bit on the soft side to gain some grip. Maybe it looked scary but to be honest it was all under control. I am starting to get scared now that I am getting a bit older!"
"The grip was quite low in some of the braking areas so I was careful there, but we had a clean run through and we are happy with the pace notes for the second pass."
"I tried to find the rhythm and the feeling and maybe two corners in I went a bit too much. I'll try to push on the Power Stage and take some points from who is in front of me now."
"I don't know why this year, but the jumps earlier in the stage felt massive compared to last year. Last year they were all flat but this year I was almost jumping into the next one!"
