I knew before the stage that my tyres were worse than his. With what I had, I'm quite satisfied with the job I did.

"If we'd had a run like this yesterday, it probably would be looking pretty good. We've just tried to look after the car today, as little risk as possible but still keep a nice rhythm. Okay, it's been frustrating at times, but we're here with no trouble."

"We just stuck to our plan, kept doing the same thing and it's working. We'll drop some time here because our rear tyres were nearly bald. I said I'd try a different approach here. I've learned from my mistakes, going off too hard and too fast, it's difficult to hold back, but it's working."
"Fourth place is pretty good but it's been a tough day. It's been pretty safe, but okay young drivers always want more pace! This part of the learning."
