Other info
The live TV Power Stage was first used last year and gradually climbs uphill through a number of kinks and curves on the coast above the beaches of Folaca, Tamaricciu and Palombaggia. At 8km, it drops downhill and crews negotiate a number of tricky corners and hairpins before dashing along a 400 metre straight that leads to the finish.
Info
"I was aiming to fight for the first place this morning but we have just had a sudden transmission problem."
"We went fast to establish a good gap and I think we did an intelligent rally. We ran when we had to and were cautious when it was needed."
"The feeling is amazing. Special thanks to the team; they have always believes in me and kept pushing me after Monte Carlo and Sweden. I wasn't sure if we could win this event after the first day but we turned it around on the second and I'm very pleased."
"It's like before in the rally, everything was strange here. I'm happy with third place."
"It's been a tough rally so we're happy to be at the end. We didn't have any power, anti-lag, the diff was locked and we had no handbrake on the last stage."
"I tried my best and enjoyed the battle. We can take some positives from the weekend. We have so little experience and we didn't make a single mistake. We have to be pleased with that."
"I went lower with the car and did a crazy attack. Maybe it was too much because I was understeering in a couple of places. We'll see what the others do."
Overshooting at a left-hand bend and having to reverse. "The tyres were getting too hot on the brakes and I was never going to make the corner so decided to use the driveway as well. Time to go home and get my season on track."
"I think we had a puncture and we lost quite a bit of time."
"We've got to try and takes some positives. We've got a lot of info for the next asphalt rally so that's something."
"I had a bad vibration after 2km with my brakes. I finished with no risks."
"It's been a great weekend for us. We had a good gap and it was about maintaining that. I hope to be back in a WRC car soon! Things are looking better on that front and I hope to be back soon. Something is going on for sure."
"It's been my best race on the Tarmac so I'm happy with that. I've learned a lot and really enjoying driving this car."
