SS17
Stopped on the stage
Approaching the finish slowly - "I come very slow to try to come to the finish of the rally. Not a big problem as not in good classification, but you try to get the top ten. It is a little frustrating." - Still has transmission problem.
"I hope so, I don't know what the 5th place guy will do now as I have a problem from the middle of the tage to now. The car was really slippery in the rear, I don't know. I hope to further with the R5 car. I am so thankful for the prize from Eurosport."
SS16
Gimbals broken
"Transmission is broken. In the last stage I hear some noise after the stage and hear it broke. For sure I will lose a lot of time in the next one."
"I am happy with the time but I have to go to cool the brakes."
"The pace was really good I think, but it is a shame I have a spin in the same corner... it was the same corner, I lost more time now, maybe 12-seconds. Now we need to take this car to the finish."
"Good! Last stage (to go). Very happy."
SS15
Delecour is running late as they changed the radiator in service.
SS13
Out of road always in the same corner but restart
Engine problems
Out of road
Out of road in the same corner of car N°22 and 6
Accident in the same corner of N°22
Out of road for the second time
SS12
"Never seen a gravel stage like this!" - Really enjoying himself now running under Rally2.
"I think this stage is in favour for Subaru's, the first one was more on engine. The first one on gravel, the left rear wheel we hit the bank. This I think is a scary stage actually, it is very narrow and one mistake means falling down several hundred metres."
"Stupid stage... Even on gravel it is not a nice stage, 1st, 2nd, 1st, 2nd, it is for people who are learning to drive! With 2WD we lose 30-seconds!!" - Not at all happy.
Must to reverse in one corner
Problems with brakes
"Gravel was so slippy. We have a spin in a slow corner,as I take 2nd gear and I have no power."
SS11
"We made a spin in the first corner, was hairpin, was very tight and I had to reverse. I lose 30-second there. I was surprised, was very tight, was hairpin, had to push the handbrake and when I do this the car turn around."
Spin
"So much sliding, we enjoy it."
"It is very slippery and I spin on the stage, more or less after 3 kilometres. We fix the problem with the fuel pressure."
"I was trying to do a little bit of a push and I was sliding a little bit at the end of the stage. The time seems to be good. I can trust the pace notes."
SS8
Puncture
"The arm is broken (rear suspension) and for sure I have to be careful, but for now it is okay. It was still a little slippery."
SS7
"The guy went off in front of me at a hairpin, so I had to stop and squeeze past. It has been good, let's hope for more this afternoon. I just try to keep out of the cuts."
Broken rear brake disc from previous stage
SS6
He hit the same bridge as Hirschi
He hit the same bridge as Magalhaes
He hit the same bridge as Hirschi
"My tyres are dead, I used this 4 tyres since the beginning. And my steering isn't good, I go straight."
Hit the bridge - broken wheel and puncture. He lost more than two minutes
He hit the same bridge as Hirschi
SS4
Hit a house (damage right rear light and spoiler)
"I hit a house in the village, I did not lose any time but I hit a little house in the village on the right. I was too sideways. Not too much damage, no puncture, okay."
"No problem, the stage was very slippery, more than I expected, I drive very carefully as first of the day."
"Really slippery, more than 50% wet, really incredible, no rain over the last 2-days. We change a lot of things in the car."
Problems with intercom
SS3
"Hairpin, hairpin, hair pin, tricky conditions, not for the Porsche. The time will not be good, you need 4WD for this stage. To keep the Porsche on the stage in these conditions, is very difficult.”
Front right tyre completely gone, running on the rim.
"On tight corner, I brake, the car turn too much, really slowly. Put the reverse and we lose maybe 10-second. Really slippery, I do not feel comfortable with the car. We try to fix the car and try a different set-up."
"We are a bit off the pace, the road is quite different that we experience before. The change of rhythm is quite often, you go from wide to narrow."
"Really better, but so much sliding. Tomorrow we will do it better. We were in traffic jam..."
SS2
"We have a puncture, I think the front right. It is not good."
"It is a lot of mist for sure. I think it was maybe 2 or 3 kilometres you could not see nothing. The car is just amazing. I need to learn how much I can trust the car. It feels amazing."
"Everything okay, but a few places fog. It was a little bit crazy but no problem."
"I am on hard tyres, fine to start but once you get into the fog and the mist, I had absolutely no grip at all, the tyres are like new."
SS1
"It was very tricky, very sliding, cannot brake. We start slowly and then we will go faster. I have soft tyre."
"Almost all stage we have no power, the end of stage maybe 1 kilometre (got it back), some problem we have with car. Absolutely no power, but try to go best pace."
"I think this stage is for Mitsubishi's. I am still looking for confidence as we did not have chance to test the car."
