I came here very angry with a small mistake in Sweden...but this is the perfect way.
A big thanks for the team: the car ran without any problems, a lot of things we can work on, but we progress from here
Byla to super rally. V první řadě bych chtěl pogratulovat týmu, Polo bylo výborné, mohl jsem na tom tlačit, přijel jsem sem hladový po úspěchu zvláště po mé chybě ve Švédsku. Rádi bychom viděli ve předu ještě Andrease, ale i Jari-Mattiho úspěch je super.
Na pár místech to bylo na hraně, bojoval jsem o tyto body z Power Stage, byla to dobrá jízda, z celkového pohledu dobré. Nikdy jsem tady nedokončil na lepším než druhém místě, takže jsem s tím spokojený
Je to super výsledek, celý tým pracoval velmi dobře, možná jsem nepředvedl takový výkon, jaký bych si představoval, ale mi se zlepšujeme a budeme se ještě zlepšovat

That was the goal...once we lost time on the first day we had to take it gently, drove 85%. [on Meeke] it's a tough rally / Tohle byl náš cíl...první den jsme ztratili čas, museli jsme to vzít rozumně, jeli jsme na 85% (na Meekeho) je to obtížná soutěž...
Jsem opravdu rád, že jsem to zvládnul a jsem v cíli, je to super auto, krásná jízda, je super, že můžou diváci z celého světa sledovat Mexickou rally...
Docela dobrá jízda, bylo tam hodně bordelu, asi nebudu mít nejrychlejší čas, uvidíme, co až dojedou ostatní kluci do cíle...

My first time doing that stage...it's OK / Na poprvé dobrý!
I made 2 mistakes...I went wide and wide and lost time...
I pushed quite hard - I had a good run, very clean...problem with visibility, my wipers were not working
But of a shock at the first corner there...not marginal, but OK

I didn't do the stage last night, so first time, there was a massive rock in the corner, it caught...I had to do a 360.. / Včera večer jsem tuhle zkoušku nejel, takže teď poprvé, v zatáčce byl veliký kámen, který jsme trefili a musel jsem udělat kompletní otočku...
Dneska jsme to zvládli, relativně bez problémů, přišli jsme sice o brzdy ale ve srovnání s ostatníma je to malichernost, zítřek musím ještě nastudovat

We keep a good rhythm, and that is the best way to stay in first place...the grip was a little better than this morning
Pretty slippy...the grip level was hard to find...I would like to fine-tune the set-up a bit...

Flat out all stage - I really enjoyed...the car is jumping a bit all around...we know where we can improve

It was OK...in many places lacking grip, but that is how it is for everybody.... no power

Very special here, I love the passion these people have here in Rally México. For sure it's a good feeling to be leading the championship, this stage was a bit sloppy to be honest, but a clean run.
