Info
We were hoping for a bit more sun. It's difficult at the moment but we'll see. The weather is very changeable at the moment so it is difficult to see what this afternoon will bring.
"If you look compared to the guys around me the time is not so bad. The conditions are not so good. Some good stages - we made a mistake on tyre choice in the last one - but I thought this one was alright."
It's been a good morning. On the slow sections I still need to improve the driving. Not sure if I can change it in a half-an-hour service but it does need to improve!
A couple of big jumps kind of threw me off in a few places but it wasn't so bad. We put on the hards in the last stage which was a bit stupid with the rain.
"More confidence definitely, confidence is better but conditions are not typical Sardinia. It is not the easiest condition to drive on, there is no benefit to road position, it would have been better to start at the front."
To be honest it's not being driving too bad. It's just pretty difficult when you don't have a massive amount to fight for.
It's not easy. It's not easy. We can improve, I'm struggling but I don't know why to be honest. Let's see what we can do for this afternoon, maybe I will take two spares, it could be a good choice.
It was very muddy in the beginning. Losing at the start but it was better at the end. Plan for this afternoon will be determined by the conditions, I'm feeling really comfortable at the moment so let's keep this pace going.
What can I say? It's tight and not so easy. Not really satisfied, it is much more satisfying if the feeling is good.
"I try what I can. The tyre choice was right, definitely."
I'm pushing very hard, in the last couple of stages there were a few moments so maybe I need to calm down a little bit.
