Co-driver Patrick Bérard passed away the 10th of November, after suffering severe injuries when his Ford Sierra RS Cosworth driven by Bruno Bastide went off the road and fell into 15-meter ravine. Two members of the service crew to René Venier also died in an accident on a road section when their service car fell into the Rieutord River.
